Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid brought together faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how education can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when rooted in respect for human rights.
